Information Center Representative

About the Role
The Information Center Representative position provides critical support to the College's Information Center, ensuring exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff. This role requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist with scheduling placement tests and registration sessions, utilizing Banner and CRM systems.
- Remain knowledgeable about College processes and procedures, resolving basic questions and issues related to admissions, financial aid, and registration.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, actively listening and seeking clarification when needed.
- Collaborate with the Manager to evaluate the Information Center's operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of work experience in a call center, help desk, or information center required.
- Ability to work in a quality-controlled, performance-measured environment required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment required.
