About the Role

The Information Center Representative position provides critical support to the College's Information Center, ensuring exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff. This role requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Assist with scheduling placement tests and registration sessions, utilizing Banner and CRM systems.
  • Remain knowledgeable about College processes and procedures, resolving basic questions and issues related to admissions, financial aid, and registration.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, actively listening and seeking clarification when needed.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to evaluate the Information Center's operations and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of work experience in a call center, help desk, or information center required.
  • Ability to work in a quality-controlled, performance-measured environment required.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment required.
