Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at Omni Hotels & Resorts. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of Human Resource administration, including recruiting, salary administration, associate services, associate benefits, management development/training, and labor relations.

As a key member of our leadership team, the Human Resources Director will provide strategic guidance and support to management personnel on all laws affecting associates and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan to identify management level positions and hourly positions.
  • Drive and reinforce the Omni Culture.
  • Administer salary administration policies and programs, including reviewing and readjusting salary ranges, conducting local wage surveys, and monitoring merit increases.
  • Coordinate management development and associate training, recommending new programs based on need.
  • Oversee associate benefit program administration.
  • Stay abreast of all Federal and State laws and keep management advised of changes affecting associates and operations.
  • Provide counsel and assistance to management personnel on associate problems related to supervision and administration.
  • Conduct annual associate engagement surveys in conjunction with corporate personnel.
Requirements
  • Four or more years of experience in HR management in a four or five diamond property hotel with over 300 associates.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. PHR certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing in an upscale hotel environment.
  • Proven leadership skills supporting an environment of employee growth and development, interdepartmental teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who thrives under pressure and can perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when needed.
  • Service and detail-oriented, with a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • The ability to sit and utilize a telephone/computer for an extended period.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
