Diabetes Management Professional

Role Description: UMPhysicians seeks an accomplished Endocrine Care Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to manage patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders. This position involves working closely with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough patient evaluations and create customized treatment plans
- Collaborate with specialists, including endocrinologists and diabetes educators
- Manage diabetes-related medications and equipment
Requirements:
- Formal education in Physician Assistant or Adult Nurse Practitioner studies
- Eligibility for NCCPA, ANCC, or AANP certification
- Minnesota licensure and prescriptive authority
- Minimum 3 years of experience in endocrinology or a related field
