Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Associate at the Westin San Diego, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless stay for our valued customers. Your primary responsibilities will include registering guests, making and modifying reservations, and handling hotel operator and concierge duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurate.
  • Reservation Management: Make and modify reservations, as well as handle any changes or cancellations, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Hotel Operations: Provide assistance with hotel operations, including answering guest inquiries, handling mail and messages, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow associates and other departments to ensure seamless communication and a positive guest experience.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Possess a positive and upbeat personality, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: Be able to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
