Job Title: IT Strategic Sourcing Manager

The Rockridge Group is seeking a highly skilled IT Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for executing sourcing projects that drive business value and optimize total cost of ownership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive savings and business transformation
  • Manage IT sourcing process from start to finish, including market research, sourcing strategy, RFX/event development, negotiations, and stakeholder involvement
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with IT directors and VPs
  • Partner with IT organization to drive relationship management activities and contribute to business reviews and QBRs
  • Lead planning and ideation sessions to drive key decisions and influence stakeholders
  • Conduct market and IT vendor research to communicate findings through meaningful research summaries
  • Develop and manage IT sourcing project timelines and lead cross-functional working sessions and leadership meetings
  • Analyze vendor bid responses and round to round movement to uncover insights and influence sourcing strategy
  • Facilitate the development of award scenarios and recommendations for stakeholder evaluation and decision-making
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • MBA/JD/MS/ME preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years IT strategic sourcing experience with multiple IT sourcing category experience
  • Consulting experience preferred; experience in retail is a plus
  • Project and vendor management experience
  • Contract writing and management experience preferred
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Data analytical skills
  • Experience using e-sourcing tools for RFx processes, analysis, and/or optimization is a plus
