About the Role

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by determining customer needs, answering questions, and recommending products and services.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales goals by promoting and selling Sherwin-Williams products and services to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that products are properly stocked and displayed.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales associates and store staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Driver's License: Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
