Job Summary

Batteries Plus, a leading battery, light bulb, and phone repair franchise, is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Northfield. As a key member of our store management team, you will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales objectives and maintain efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the store's business plan, aligning with company programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee operational activities, including purchasing, receiving, inventory management, sales floor recovery, and store organization and cleanliness.
  • Support commercial and retail sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist with the selection and training of store associates and perform supervisory duties in the Store Manager's absence.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of retail experience (cell phone repair experience a plus).
  • Passion for customer service and problem-solving, with the ability to close a sale.
  • Strong technical aptitude and basic understanding of electronics, with the ability to be trained in cell phone repair and key programming.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and install automotive batteries.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
