Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the highest level of performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and other senior leaders to develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations, laws, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct software and proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and advanced formulas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
