The ideal candidate will be a results-driven team player with the capacity to manage multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment. They will be responsible for following lesson plans to teach and supervise classes as needed, responding promptly to teacher requests, and communicating with teachers by leaving notes on the day's events, progress, or challenges.

The Floating Substitute Teacher will also be responsible for building positive relationships with students, maintaining a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information, and providing assistance with daily operations of the school when no substitute teachers are needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow lesson plans to teach and supervise classes as needed
  • Respond promptly to teacher requests for a substitute teacher
  • Communicate with teachers by leaving notes on the day's events, progress, or challenges
  • Build positive relationships with students
  • Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information
  • Provide assistance with daily operations of the school when no substitute teachers are needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Adherence to all school policies
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
