Key Responsibilities:
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will:
  • Architect and design electronic solutions for connected medical devices that improve patient outcomes.
  • Engage in the design of a diverse array of electronic systems, from low-power devices to intricate electromechanical assemblies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to transition novel medical device concepts from initial prototypes to full-scale production.
  • Optimize electronic designs to surpass performance expectations under various operational conditions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to enhancing engineering processes and practices within the organization.
  • Identify and manage technical risks, including those related to patient safety.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals, encompassing approach, cost estimation, and scheduling.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A strategic mindset and a profound understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
  • A comprehensive background in electronic design.
  • Proven leadership skills in guiding and mentoring fellow engineers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in designing electronics for medical systems or similarly regulated sectors.

Preferred Skills:
Ideally, candidates will have:
  • Knowledge of compliance with IEC and related standards.
  • Experience with risk management methodologies and tools, such as hazard analysis.
  • A track record of designing safe and highly reliable systems.
