Job Title: Director of Human Resources

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description: Reporting to the President of Life Line, the Director of Human Resources will lead the human resources function at Life Line. This position involves designing, planning, and implementing human resources programs including employee training, retention, recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and leave administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent management skills, written and verbal communication skills, organizational and time management skills, and HRIS experience. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field is required, along with prior supervisory experience. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Designs, plans, and implements human resources programs including employee training, retention, recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and leave administration.
  2. Collaborates with teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs for employees.
  3. Leads engagement teams and culture efforts across Life Line aimed at increasing employee satisfaction.
  4. Engages with outside vendors and Shared Services learning & development to provide training programs or training content as needed.
  5. Establishes procedures to analyze trends and develop workforce plans to resolve issues and make a positive impact on business results.
  6. Partners with community members, associations, industry contacts, and workforce development to promote Life Line as an employer of choice.
  7. Identifies and analyzes complex employee relations issues and provides recommendations for resolutions.
  8. Responsible for policy development and implementation across Life Line, including the employee handbook and other employment policies.
  9. Mentors human resources individuals to grow and develop in their career.
  10. Works closely with Folience Shared Services human resources on legal and compliance, and any employee escalations.
