The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Wildlife Conservation Officer. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, protecting and preserving the state's natural resources.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing laws and regulations related to wildlife conservation, as well as providing education and outreach to the public on conservation issues. This includes patrolling state forest lands, addressing complaints, investigating accidents and suspected criminal activities, and taking necessary actions.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Wildlife Conservation Officer will also be tasked with filing charges with the district judge, prosecuting cases on behalf of the Commonwealth, and preparing various reports, including incident and investigative reports, as well as daily logs.
We are offering a competitive salary of $42,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
