Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to lead our human resources function at Life Line Emergency Vehicles. Reporting to the President, this Director of Human Resources will be responsible for implementing and managing policies and programs that reflect our mission and values, supporting company goals, and fostering a culture of engagement and productivity.

The Role

This critical role involves designing, planning, and implementing human resources programs, including employee training, retention, recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and leave administration. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teams to assess ongoing and future training needs, suggest enhancements to existing training programs, and ensure all training is up-to-date and effective.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement comprehensive human resources strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  3. Lead engagement teams and culture efforts to increase employee satisfaction and ensure milestones are met.
  4. Develop procedures to analyze trends and create workforce plans to address issues and drive business results.
  5. Partner with external vendors and Shared Services learning & development to provide training programs or content as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in human resources, preferably in employee relations, employee engagement, and recruitment.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
