We are seeking a highly skilled Database Manager to join our team at Gospel Rescue Mission. As a key member of our Development team, you will be responsible for managing our Raiser's Edge NXT database, ensuring data integrity, and providing reports and data-based support to our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the Raiser's Edge NXT database, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data entry and reporting.
- Provide reports and data-based support to the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Development Officer, Major Gifts Officer, Communications Director, and their assignees.
- Implement, maintain, and train Development staff on Raiser's Edge and database best practices.
- Function as the go-to person for event and mailing lists, reports, queries, and any gift/constituent information that needs to be imported or exported out of Raiser's Edge.
- Maintain database integrity by working closely with Development staff to ensure accuracy in gift and constituent entries and respond quickly and accurately to requests for changes and updates to Raiser's Edge.
- Perform regular queries to ensure data integrity is accurate.
- Maintain Raiser's Edge to ensure program enables maximum efficiency as a constituent relationship management system consistent with the organization's data entry guidelines.
- Strategize and implement methodology for maximizing the efficient management of the organization's constituents through the effective use of Raiser's Edge.
- B.S. degree in accounting or business or equivalent job experience.
- 5 years' experience working with Raiser's Edge NXT/Blackbaud Database.
- Blackbaud certification in Raiser's Edge NXT/Database preferred.
- 5 years of diversified fundraising experience in a nonprofit environment, including capital campaigns, major gifts, annual gifts, direct mail, and corporate philanthropy.
- 4 years administrative experience.
- Nonprofit experience and a successful track record in fundraising program management.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in team-based, cross-functional work environments with effective communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Collaborative work ethic with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English, bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- Adherence to deadlines, strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to develop and execute team initiatives, independently as well as collaboratively.
- Outstanding interpersonal relational skills.
- Proficient written communication, reading comprehension, and comprehensive listening skills.
- Ability to convey a high degree of commitment and passion for Gospel Rescue Mission.
