Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the on-site staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, vendors, and colleagues, ensuring a positive and professional image for FPI Management, Inc.
  • Employee Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Leasing and Occupancy: Develop and implement strategies to maintain high occupancy levels, drive leasing growth, and ensure timely rent collections.
  • Revenue Management: Analyze and manage revenue streams, ensuring maximum profitability and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring the physical asset is well-maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and USDA-Rural Development.
  • Affordable Housing Accreditation or other applicable designations.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Community Director or in a similar leadership role in Residential Property Management.
  • Past performance must meet an exemplary status of stellar work quality, reliability, and dependability.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. College degree in a relatable field preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, and internet.
