Job Title: Senior Director of Software Development

Oracle is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director of Software Development to lead our Data-Plane Platform engineering teams. As a key member of our Technical Strategy & Oversight Organization, you will be responsible for building and leading high-performing teams to deliver successful products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct, lead, and coach engineering teams to deliver successful products and services.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization.
  • Launch new cloud services and establish operational excellence.
  • Set the technical direction for foundational data-plane components across OCI.
  • Build high-performing geographically distributed engineering teams.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop best talent.
  • Establish and stimulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for the entire org.
  • Develop strategic plans to accomplish technical and business objectives with leadership chain, team, and customers.
  • Define new KPIs to inform decision making and prioritization.
  • Set goals and expectations for performance and work with employees to establish specific, measurable goals and commitments.
