About the Role:
The Child and Family Counselor role focuses on delivering therapeutic services to clients within the Bend/LaPine School Districts. This includes:
- Conducting family, individual, and group therapy sessions.
- Engaging with clients and their families to gather information and develop comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including fellow clinicians, psychiatric medication providers, psychologists, and skills trainers, to enhance client treatment.
Compensation:
- Unlicensed: Starting salary of $60,000 (dependent on experience).
- Licensed: Starting salary of $64,800 (dependent on experience).
- In-house licensure supervision provided at no cost, saving employees significant expenses.
- Flexible work schedule with Monday through Friday hours.
Qualifications:
- A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Eligibility for certification as a licensed professional counselor, clinical social worker, psychologist, or marriage and family therapist in the state.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Experience at the QMHA or QMHP level in outpatient mental health settings, including internships.
- A commitment to meaningful work and professional development.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in psychiatric care.
- Strong differential diagnostic skills.
