Behavioral Health Specialist II

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Behavioral Health Specialist II with Deschutes County, OR. As a member of our team, you will provide crisis assessments and services to individuals and families in our community. You will also manage clinical care of individuals admitted to respite units and coordinate care with community partners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis assessments and services to individuals and families in our community.
- Manage clinical care of individuals admitted to respite units.
- Coordinate care with community partners for those we serve in crisis services.
- Coordinate within crisis team to provide seamless care at a 24-hour facility.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field.
- One year of experience in the behavioral health field.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary to meet client and department needs.
- Ambulatory ability to drive throughout Deschutes County and to provide face-to-face services in a variety of settings in the community.
- Current licensure without restrictions from a recognized governing board in Oregon as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Previous experience providing crisis intervention.
- A competitive salary range of $33.89 to $47.69 per hour.
