Work Schedule: Day shifts. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, with call and holiday rotations required.

Community Impact:

AdventHealth Parker operates as a Level II Trauma Center, dedicated to delivering exceptional, community-centered healthcare. Since our inception in 2004, we have evolved into a regional medical hub. In 2017, we earned the Magnet Recognized Hospital designation, and in 2018, we became one of only five hospitals nationwide, and the sole hospital in Colorado, to achieve Joint Commission Certification for Bariatrics. Our facility includes 170 licensed beds, 23 private rooms in the Emergency Department, and 13 surgical suites.

Your Role:

Deliver high-quality patient care within the medical imaging department. Execute diagnostic imaging procedures while being sensitive to patient needs. Adhere to safe radiation practices and serve as a role model for fellow technologists. Act as a clinical resource for unit personnel and ensure compliance with current standards of practice.

Your Contributions:

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring safety for yourself, patients, and others. Adhere to all regulations regarding radiation safety, minimizing exposure to the lowest levels possible.
  • Generate high-quality images accurately and promptly.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, providing necessary information and support to address their physical and emotional needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state, federal, accreditation, and hospital regulations and standards.
  • Exhibit effective time management skills and proactively prioritize tasks to meet productivity goals.
  • Adapt to rapidly evolving technologies, policies, regulations, and staffing needs through effective prioritization and flexibility.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Licensed Radiology Technologist in the state
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • ARRT (CT), ARRT (N), or CNMT registry required, or State CT registry ARRT (R) with CT training
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
