Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday - 3 PM to 11:30 PM, with weekend on-call requirements.

Your Role:

Deliver exceptional patient care within the medical imaging department. Execute high-quality imaging procedures while being attentive to patient needs. Adhere to established radiation safety standards and serve as a mentor and resource for fellow technologists and students.

Your Contributions:

  • Conduct diagnostic radiology procedures while ensuring safety for yourself and patients, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Generate high-quality images efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, providing clear instructions and addressing their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during procedures, ensuring proper positioning.
  • Monitor patients and equipment throughout procedures, documenting any unusual occurrences.
  • Facilitate patient flow and optimize the use of resources and equipment.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma. Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred, with at least one year of post-certification experience necessary for evaluating or instructing student radiographers.
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification required.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Bone Density certification preferred within six months of hire, if applicable.
