Regional Facilities Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Director to join our team at the YMCA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our members and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of maintenance and housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, members, and contractors to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and customer service.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in computer software and hardware.
- Certifications: Certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or housekeeping preferred.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to the outdoors and potential exposure to electrical and mechanical mechanisms. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time is also required.
