Senior Civil Construction Project Coordinator

The Dyer Partnership Engineers & Planners, Inc. is a growing firm with three offices seeking an experienced Senior Civil Construction Observer to join our team in Clackamas County, Oregon. This full-time position (40 hours per week) involves on-site daily attendance for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant project, anticipated to last 24 to 36 months.
About the Role:
We are looking for a self-motivated and dependable individual with a minimum of five years of experience in civil infrastructure projects, such as water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and excellent written communication skills. Relevant industry certifications, experience with municipal projects related to civil and environmental engineering, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred qualifications.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Civil Construction Observer, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting observations of all aspects of construction, collaborating with other field representatives or Project Managers, reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, and reviewing pay applications and change orders. You will also need to keep a copy of all related project files onsite, track and document plan changes on record drawings, provide site tours to the Owner or funding agency, administer and/or attend onsite construction management meetings, and coordinate and review submittals.
Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary estimated at $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus company health care and retirement plans, vacation, holiday, and sick pay, reimbursement for professional registration and renewals, and opportunities for professional growth and development within a diverse range of projects.
