Retail Clerk - Part Time

Location: Bethlehem, PA

The primary duty of the Retail Clerk is to facilitate the sale of products within the retail environment. All responsibilities must be executed in alignment with departmental and Wind Creek Bethlehem guidelines, practices, and protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Punctually report for shifts in the designated uniform.
  2. Assist customers in selecting products.
  3. Complete training on all essential Point of Sale system operations.
  4. Maintain the sales floor by ensuring proper stocking and rotation of merchandise.
  5. Receive and manage merchandise deliveries from the warehouse and other locations.
  6. Prepare merchandise transfers as needed.
  7. Utilize equipment and tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks, adhering to company safety standards.
  8. Acquire a working knowledge of applicable PGCB regulations and Internal Controls relevant to your role.
  9. Complete all documentation in accordance with PGCB and Wind Creek Bethlehem standards.
  10. Understand the Wind Creek Bethlehem Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan, particularly regarding service restrictions.
  11. Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests, in compliance with Wind Creek Bethlehem service standards.
  12. Follow and adhere to both departmental and overall property policies and procedures.
  13. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  2. High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  3. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  5. Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance in line with Wind Creek Bethlehem standards.
  6. Consistent adherence to Wind Creek Bethlehem Customer Service Standards is essential.
  7. Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

SPECIFIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
  2. Familiarity with Infogenesis is advantageous.
  3. Ability to manage multiple customer interactions while providing excellent service.
  4. Knowledge of inventory management and store upkeep is essential.
  5. Must be capable of working independently.
  6. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
  7. Physical capability to access all areas of the property.
  8. Ability to endure prolonged periods of standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling.
  9. Capacity to work in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment while maintaining composure.
  10. Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
  11. Collaborative mindset to work effectively with others and follow directions.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and engage with guests in a courteous manner.
  13. Ability to handle challenging situations with clients with professionalism and tact.
  14. Must qualify for and obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board license if necessary.
