Job Title: Technical Scrum Master

We're seeking a skilled Technical Scrum Master to join our Core Enterprise Data and Analytics Group at Expeditors. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for guiding our team of talented developers in developing core applications that enable management of customer data, driving superior supply chain execution and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Coach the team in Agile principles, values, and practices, ensuring adherence to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) guidelines.
  • Lead the team in self-organization, ensuring quality software delivery with predictability, efficiency, and velocity.
  • Conduct Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, iteration planning, iteration reviews, and iteration retrospectives.
  • Foster a positive and productive team culture, encouraging collaboration and teamwork.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to address their needs and expectations while providing timely information.
  • Proactively manage dependencies and ensure committed work is delivered on time.
  • Understand the context and status of each feature and story within the iteration plan.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager in administering quarterly Planning Interval (PI) sessions.
  • Identify and remove impediments, escalating issues as needed.
  • Promote a mindset of relentless and continuous improvement.
  • Track work completion and report progress.
Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of Project Management or Scrum Master experience, or experience in related fields.
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies, especially Scrum and SAFe.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and execution skills.
  • Continuous learner with a growth mindset and a desire for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration abilities, and organizational skills.

This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA area at one of the following locations: Downtown Seattle, Federal Way, Lynnwood, or Bellevue (Factoria). Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
