About the Role:

The Banquet Captain is a key member of our events team, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all banquet activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing all banquet activities, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.

  • Maintain banquet equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including food and beverage, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in banquet operations, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory role.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Current Alcohol server certification and/or food service permit, as required by local or state government agency.
