Moffitt Cancer Center is a leading cancer hospital in the Southeast, and we are seeking a highly skilled Sarcoma Surgical Oncologist to join our team. As a key member of our academic medical enterprise, you will play a vital role in advancing our mission to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serve as a member of our academic medical enterprise.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with sarcoma, which may include urgent/emergent surgery.
- Respond to general surgery consults and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in research and education initiatives to advance our understanding of sarcoma and improve patient outcomes.
- MD or Equivalent
- Board certified (or eligible) in General Surgery
- Requires successful completion of an approved Fellowship
- Florida Medical License
- DEA License
- ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff
