Job Summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Breast Medical Oncologist to join our team as an Assistant Level Academic Member in the Don and Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for evaluating, managing, and treating patients with breast cancer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hematology/oncology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our team of sub-specialists in surgical oncology, medical oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, radiation therapy, pathology, radiology, and psycho-social medicine to optimize patient care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with breast cancer
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct clinical or translational research in conjunction with delivery of clinical services
  • Participate in educational activities, including teaching and mentoring
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Board certification/eligibility in hematology/oncology
  • Successful completion of an approved fellowship in hematology/oncology
  • Florida medical license
  • DEA license
  • ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff
