Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Assistant level. As an Academic Member in the Moffitt Cancer Center Don and Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program, you will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. You will also engage in clinical or translational research and demonstrate creative activity, including discovery of new knowledge and development of new educational techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with breast cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery
  • Conduct clinical or translational research in breast cancer, including studies on new treatments and therapies
  • Develop and teach educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and researchers to advance the understanding and treatment of breast cancer
Requirements
  • MD degree or equivalent
  • Florida medical license or eligibility
  • Board certification/eligibility in general surgery
  • Fellowship training in surgical oncology or breast oncology
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary clinical practice setting
