Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of CT procedures, applying ionizing radiation as directed by the Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Identify patients and procedures, and inform nursing of patients requiring IV sedation or biopsies.
  • Fill out CT questionnaires and female questionnaires for patients between 12-55 years old.
  • Position patients accurately for CT procedures, ensuring optimal visibility and anatomy demonstration.
  • Perform procedures correctly using scanning protocols and reference materials.
  • Complete studies in a timely manner and transmit them to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked room, ensuring adequate supplies and linens are available.
  • Use proper technique when injecting IV contrast, and ensure IVs are functioning correctly.
  • Respond to codes and emergency situations appropriately.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification in CT.
  • ARRT Registered and registered in CT.
  • CPR certification.
  • SCQRSA License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3D Imaging experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier).
  • Data entry skills.
Work Environment

This position is located at Baptist Hospital, with a weekend shift schedule.
