Job Summary

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT examinations on patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT technology and imaging protocols.
  • Participate in on-call rotation among staff members during weekdays.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist required.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • National certifications in BLS, ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (CT) required.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT).
  • Compliance with South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
  • State license required at the time of start.
  • Radiation Badge must be provided by the agency.
Work Environment
  • Shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • On-call requirement for rotation among staff members.
  • Local Radius: 60 miles.
  • Locals may be accepted on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate.
  • RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission.
  • Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
