Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans as directed by the Manager, ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Identify patients and procedures, and inform nursing staff of patients requiring IV sedation or biopsies.
  • Fill out CT questionnaires and female questionnaires for patients between 12-55 years old, and position patients accurately for all CT procedures.
  • Operate the PACS system, verify studies before sending to archive, and report equipment problems to the supervisor and in-charge tech.
  • Perform warm-up calibrations as needed, and maintain competency in working in the CT department.
Requirements
  • ARRT Registered
  • Registered in CT within 1 year of working in CT
  • CPR
  • SCQRSA License
