Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Lexington Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results
  • Prepare patients for procedures, using universal precautions and maintaining a safe environment
  • Collaborate with radiologists to provide pertinent information for patient care
  • Monitor intravenous contrast injections and use CT injectors as needed
  • Provide radiation protection and assist with biopsies, aspirations, and drainages
  • Initiate patient charging and maintain cleanliness of the CT department
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with a Post-Primary certification in Computed Tomography
  • South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association license
