Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Environmental Services Supervisor to join our operations team. As an EVS Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Environmental Services department, including planning and developing procedures to improve operational quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and corporate office to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Supervise EVS activities, including staffing levels, inventory management, and financial goals.
  • Implement standardized systems to maximize productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize process analysis methodologies to develop solutions and enhance efficiencies.
  • Identify, coordinate, and supervise department projects.
  • Supervise staff in accordance with the scope of work.
  • Conduct interviews, hire new staff, and provide employee training and orientation.
  • Coach and provide career development advice to staff.
  • Establish employee goals and conduct performance reviews.
  • Responsible for staff scheduling, including work assignments, rotations, and employee breaks.
  • Assist staff in resolving complex issues.
  • Scheduling and conducting department meetings.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • 6 years of EVS experience, with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary.
  • An extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Minimum of high school diploma, with some college preferred.
  • The willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to perform any and all aspects of EVS operations, including hands-on cleaning when necessary.
  • A thorough understanding of customer experience and customer service techniques.
