Kaufman Rossin is a leading accounting firm seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer/Architect to join our team of world-class professionals. As a key member of our Information Security department, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's information and computing networks from ever-evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, operate, and monitor our information security sensors, logging, alerting, and detection mechanisms to identify and respond to potential threats.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for one or multiple assigned cybersecurity technology stacks, including identity and access management, network intrusion detection and prevention, and host-based security tools.
  • Collaborate with our IT team to identify, evaluate, and recommend new security technologies for suitability within our environment and security posture.
  • Communicate ongoing cybersecurity activities, priorities, and risk measurements or mitigations at multiple organizational levels.
  • Provide guidance for security activities and requirements in the system development life cycle (SDLC) and application development efforts.
  • Create and update security documents, including policies, processes, procedures, and playbooks.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of cybersecurity experience, with 3-4 years of recent operational security experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Security Engineering/Administration, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, IDS/IPS Analysis, or similar role.
  • One or more security-related certifications, such as CISSP, GIAC, GCIH, CISM, CISA, or CEH.
  • Vendor certifications on products and technologies, such as MSFT, Crowdstrike, Mimecast, OKTA, DUO, or similar.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
