We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Forest City, IA. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting resident interactions.
- Contribute to the assessment of residents, identifying their physical and psychosocial needs, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest best practices in nursing care.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with a current LPN license in the state of Iowa.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
