Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Humble, Texas.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Radiology Technologist to support our Northeast Inpatient Imaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing radiography (x-ray) examinations to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for exams, obtain and record vital signs, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and ensure technical quality of images.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on radiology equipment, and identify/report any accidents or equipment malfunctions.
  • May assist with initial and renewal applications for ACR accreditation and perform patient registration tasks.
  • Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to Memorial Hermann's policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
