Job Summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiography (x-ray) examinations to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring technical quality of images and adhering to radiation safety procedures.
  • Prepare patients for exams, obtain and record vital signs, and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Perform quality assurance on radiology equipment, identifying and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide safe and effective patient care, adhering to Memorial Hermann's standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
