Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing radiography (x-ray) examinations to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams, obtain and record vital signs, and explain procedures
  • Position patients for exams, select appropriate imaging techniques, and ensure technical quality of images
  • Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on radiology equipment, and assist with accreditation applications
  • Identify and report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management
  • Take emergency calls within the department and may be required to work weekends and float to other locations as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
