Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiography (x-ray) examinations to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Prepare patients for exams, obtain and record vital signs, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging.
  • Operate radiology equipment, ensuring technical quality of images and adhering to radiation safety procedures.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on equipment, and identify/report any accidents or equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
