Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to provide administrative support to our front desk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and modifying patient appointments, communicating with patients and healthcare providers, and collaborating with our Verification, Authorization, and Billing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the front desk team, including answering phones, taking messages, and routing calls.
  • Assist with scheduling and modifying patient appointments, ensuring timely and efficient communication with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to obtain medical documentation and secure insurance authorizations.
  • Collaborate with our Verification, Authorization, and Billing teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient processing of patient cases.
  • Perform shipping and receiving of products as needed, maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
  • Meet work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards established by the company.
  • Comply with Corporate Compliance and HIPAA responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of office administrative management experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Experience with medical terminology, accounts receivable, insurance collections, or billing preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
