Job Summary

Micron Technology is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst - Inventory and Cost Management to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing monthly inventory, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing spend reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly inventory, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing spend reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve any reconciliation discrepancies and propose process improvements.
  • Analyze inventory variances, provide explanations and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and external audit requirements regarding inventory and cost of goods sold.
  • Prepare and present inventory and cost of goods sold reports and metrics to management.
  • Research and resolve inventory and cost of goods sold issues and inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Assist with COGS forecasting, standard costing, and variance analysis for manufacturing spend and inventory.
  • Create and maintain process documentation.
  • Participate in any finance operation projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support any routine and ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory or cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with application systems like SAP, Impact ECS, TM1, PBI, Adaptive, is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits

Micron Technology offers a competitive salary range of $67,000.00 - $147,000.00, depending on location and experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, paid time-off, and paid holidays. We also offer a robust paid time-off program and paid family leave.
