Key Responsibilities:- Organize and coordinate all contract handling services to meet customer targets and service requirements.
- Implement procedures to ensure safe and efficient cargo handling, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and lead a highly motivated team of cargo handlers, ensuring that all necessary training standards are achieved or exceeded.
- Ensure compliance with all TSA Directives and security procedures, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Initiate and implement directives and procedures to enhance service levels and improve operational efficiency.
- Meet regularly with other managers and supervisors to establish feedback and action plans for improving service handling.
- Take prompt corrective actions where service levels are not met, and ensure that all incidents or service complaints are fully investigated.
- Establish protocols for handling employee and administrative matters to maximize productivity and performance.
- Maintain and promote the integrity of the cargo and mail handling operation.
- Liaise with customers on a formal and routine basis to gather feedback and ensure that all reasonable customer requests are carried out.
- College degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of management experience in a similar role.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a team.
- PC proficiency (MS Office applications).
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security background checks.
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 70lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to clearly understand and communicate in English when performing essential job functions.
