About the Role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Senior Account Executive, focusing on the US Federal National Security sector. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in this critical market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand existing relationships with key decision-makers in the Intelligence Community.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and developing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with AWS's strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with partners to extend our reach and drive adoption of AWS cloud services in the National Security sector.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, with a proven track record of success in selling to C-level executives.
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • 5+ years of experience in the geospatial, aerospace, or satellite industry.
