About the Role

This position is for custodial services at a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, only members of the Church who are endowed and have a current temple recommend qualify for employment for this specific position. Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain temple floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them, following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Dust furniture, walls, light fixtures, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Remove stains from surfaces such as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
  • Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications and apply them to surfaces as needed.
  • Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.
  • Gather and empty trash, and maintain a clean and organized janitor's closet.
  • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and other surfaces.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean glass doors and other surfaces to maintain a clear view.
  • Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of temple facilities.
