Position Overview
The Cherokee Town & Country Club is in search of an On-Call Facilities Maintenance Attendant to uphold the cleanliness and organization of our fitness and aquatic areas, including the cardio room, strength training room, group fitness room, and expansive pool facility.
Role Responsibilities
If you take pride in maintaining order and ensuring a pristine environment, this weekend cleaning role may be a great fit for you. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00, commensurate with experience.

A Day in the Life
As a Facilities Maintenance Attendant, your primary duty is to ensure that our swim and fitness facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Each weekend, you will follow a structured workflow to complete your cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Restocking towels in the fitness center
- Removing trash and ensuring cleanliness
- Maintaining the tidiness of fitness storage areas and locker rooms
Beyond cleaning, you will have the chance to assist with various swim and fitness programs and events, such as pool parties and team practices. Your keen attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively will be essential to your success in this role.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification or the willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
