About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Relationship Manager to join our team at Truist. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise advanced proficiency in client maintenance requests, problem resolution, and sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience, and other product and service lines.
  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services that meet client needs.
  • Support team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex client needs to internal specialists.
  • Participate in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  • Commit to advancing individual knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge to better serve clients.
  • Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
  • Ensure a consistent client service experience by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 2 years of client sales and service experience.
  • Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond in a professional manner with a high level of service quality.
  • Experience with discussing, recommending, and selling various deposit, credit, and retirement products.
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
