Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to provide clerical support to our clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing paperwork, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records to ensure smooth operations and efficient client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including managing paperwork and maintaining client records
  • Schedule appointments and maintain a calendar of events
  • Assist with preparing reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Conduct intakes on new referrals and maintain a rotating log
  • Process purchase requisitions and maintain grant and purchasing guidelines
  • Prepare and maintain filing systems
  • Work well with others and maintain a positive image of the organization
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Graduate/GED, Bilingual preferred
  • Must be computer literate (40+ WPM)
  • Must possess good verbal communication skills - English and Spanish
  • Must possess good written communication skills - English
  • Must possess the ability to perform duties of a confidential nature
  • Must possess the ability to assist in preparing reports
  • Must possess the ability to conduct intakes on new referrals and maintain rotating log
  • Must possess the ability to plan, coordinate and work with numerical detail
  • Must have not ever been convicted of or placed on court-ordered community supervision/probation for any criminal offense classified as a Class B misdemeanor or higher
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in working with disadvantaged or underprivileged individuals
  • Knowledgeable of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA)
