Job Summary

The Director of Human Resources at Saint Anthony Hospital serves as a strategic partner to the organization, guiding and managing Human Resource services, programs, and policies. This role requires building strong relationships with key stakeholders and managers to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's short-term and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters.
Talent Acquisition and Performance Management
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and implement effective performance management processes to drive employee engagement, development, accountability, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Employee Engagement and Relations
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Support efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Manage employee relations issues and ensure fair and consistent resolution.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Monitor market trends and benchmarking data to ensure the organization remains competitive in terms of total compensation and benefit package.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to mitigate risks and promote a safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Partner with legal counsel as needed to address HR-related legal matters.
HR Operations and Technology
  • Oversee HR operations, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and support decision-making related to workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive HR leadership roles. Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • HR certification (e.g. SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus.
