Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute monthly and quarterly financial closings and prepare journal entries related to investment and insurance operations.
2. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investment portfolios.
3. Collaborate with investment teams, custodians, and software vendors to ensure accurate reporting.
4. Manage back-office trading desk functions and maintain communication with brokers.
5. Generate monthly investment performance reports and prepare statutory financial statements.
6. Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and regulatory submissions.
7. Address inquiries from auditors and regulatory bodies while recommending process enhancements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment accounting within the insurance sector (life insurance experience preferred).
- Proficient in reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
- Familiarity with regulated industries and investment accounting software (experience with FIS iWorks is advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of investment securities and statutory accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with financial applications is a plus.
- Excellent analytical abilities and communication skills.
