About the Role

As a key member of the Learning & Development team, the Instructional Designer will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-quality learning solutions and experiences that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop instructionally sound learning solutions and experiences that meet the needs of diverse audiences and subject matters.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand learning objectives and develop effective learning strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of adult learning theory and principles, including ADDIE and similar processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in e-learning, including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other relevant tools.
  • Work closely with the Director, Learning Design, and other leaders in L&D to prioritize design needs and maximize impact.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives business results.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of learning solutions into business operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a professional setting, preferably in a Learning and Development role.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory and principles, including ADDIE or similar processes.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline or Rise, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

What We Offer

The Aspen Group offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
